This is a SONY "MICRO CASSETTE-CORDER M-205" microcassette recorder.
It is an audio recording and playback device that uses microcassette tapes.
Production has already ended, and it is difficult to obtain a solely-arrived one.
It uses two AA batteries, and there is no rust or dirt inside the battery box. The exterior has small scratches, dirt, and scuffs, showing signs of age, but there is no major dirt or damage, and I think it is generally in good condition.
The lid of the cassette compartment was a little difficult to open at first, but once opened, it opened and closed smoothly.
The approximate size of the machine is
70mm wide x 135mm long x 24mm thick.
Microcassette tapes are still sold at major electronics stores, even for answering machine use.

I have confirmed that it powers on with batteries (photo 8), but I have not been able to test it further because I do not have a microcassette. Please purchase with the understanding that it has not been fully tested.
